Every once in a while a project comes up that is a bit off the norm. Here are a few examples.....
In March 2011, I was asked to duplicate four of the wreath onlays on the staircase of a century old house being restored in Waynesboro, PA.
Here is a photo of the original (left) with the duplication made of aspen wood.
One of my recent projects was designing and building a new galley unit for a 38 ft. yacht on Chesapeake Bay. Here are a few pix of what has been completed so far.
The challenge in working on boats is, nothing is plumb, square or level. The overhead slopes from center to side and also from front to back. Likewise the walls slope inward as they get higher.
