This sculpture of a Beechcraft Model 18 (lower) and a Super King Air 350 (upper) was a created as retirement gift for Glenn Raup of Carlisle, PA upon his retirement from the PA Dept. of Transportation, Bureau of Aviation. 

The Beech 18 was the aircraft in use when he started in 1977 and the 350 was the aircraft in service upon his retirement in 2003.

These lighthouses are rather generic. However, if you have a favorite lighthouse you would like a carving of, just contact me and we'll discuss how detailed you would like it to be and we can get you project underway.

With over 40 years experience in aviation, as both a commercial pilot and an airframe and powerplant  mechanic, carving aircraft seems to be second nature.

Whenever possible I  use  manufacturer's drawing and specifications to model from.
